Compulsory dance

Compulsory dance is a part of ice dancing and artistic roller skating in which all the couples or solo dancers perform the same standardized steps and holds to music of a specified tempo and genre.
Compulsory dance may also refer to:
- Compulsory dance (ice dance): the segment in ice dance competitions, now called the pattern dance
- Compulsory dance (artistic roller skating): the segment in artistic roller skating competitions, now called the style dance
