Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) is an American provider of financial technology, including core bank processing, electronic and print distribution, managed services, digital banking, payments processing, regulatory compliance, and treasury management.[1] CSI is the fourth largest banking core processor company in terms of market share in the U.S.[2] In 2017, CSI ranked 63rd in the IDC Financial Insights FinTech Rankings[3], which highlight top global technology providers based on calendar year revenues from financial institutions for hardware, software, and services. In 2018, CSI was recognized by American Banker on its inaugural list of the 20 "Best Fintechs to Work For."[4]

History and Acquisitions

CSI was incorporated in 1965 by John A. Williams in Paducah, KY.[5] Williams was named the company's chairman in 1979 and served on the Board of Directors until his retirement in 2017. CEO Steven A. Powless was named board chairman following Williams’ retirement.[6] The company has grown from having six employees and three customers[7] to being one of the top employers in Paducah.[8]
