What it is

Congregation jumpscare is a meme most prevalent in the Geometry Dash community, it is found most often on YouTube, especially on Youtube channels that specialise in these videos.

Origin

The videos most often show a normal Geometry Dash level being played until the icon falls down in a black void and the drop of the level Congregation by Presta abruptly playing. This meme may have originated from the fact that the drop of the song, Purgatori by Koraii is extremely loud compared to the calm and a seemingly repetitive song beginning of the song and the few seconds of silence before the drop.
