Connecting Software is a software company that produces integration, synchronization, and productivity solutions for various business processes. The company’s focus is on simplifying software integration by applying pre-built connectors that translate one programming interface to another. With the headquarters in Vienna, the company also has offices in the United States, Slovakia, and Portugal.[1][2]
History
Following the founding of its predecessor company Cross National Solution (CNS) in 2004, Connecting Software was established with this name in 2007 in Vienna by entrepreneur Thomas Berndorfer [3][4] Connecting Software founded its first software development hub in Slovakia. To meet the increasing demand for its software, in 2013, the company opened its subsidiary in Denver, Colorado, United States, and another development hub on the island of Madeira, Portugal, in 2017.
Connect Bridge platform
Launched in 2012, the company’s chief development is the Connect Bridge platform[5][6][7], which allows software developers to build their own integration software with fewer source lines of code[8]. This resulting software can work as software as a service (SaaS), on-premises and hybrid. Connect Bridge acts as a translator service turning the developer’s SQL statements into API calls.

Connecting Software built several out-of-the-box software products from its platform Connect Bridge. You can find them in the major vendors marketplaces, for example, from Microsoft[9] and Salesforce[10] Connecting Software has clients in various industries worldwide including the Department of Justice in Canada, the House of Commons in Canada[11], the New Zealand government, and companies like Securitas, Business Development Bank of Canada[12], Liebherr[13], Ivanhoé Cambridge, Sabert and the Compass Group[14][15]
