Console Creatures is an online video games website that began in 2008 with former Ed & Red's Night Party DJ, James Stamos and actor Rainbow Sun Francks, known for his roles on Stargate Atlantis, The Umbrella Academy (TV series), The Listener (TV series), and High Fidelity (TV series).

Console Creatures has served as a leader in the Canadian video games industry since 2008.[1] with the intention of delivering the latest news, trends, reviews and opinions. Two former City-TV stars wanted to create a space to talk about video games and James "Stamos" Stamoulakatos and Rainbow Sun Francks formed Console Creatures.

Over the years, the pair built a respectable news outlet that paired well video segments produced by James Stamos. In 2009, the website began a new life with more content focused on attending events and delivering content with several publishers, including EA[2], Bungie[3], Ubisoft[4], Sony, Nintendo, and Xbox[5]

In 2010, CES[6] coverage began as the site grew in popularity, offering an honest look at the technology power our lives. Later that year, E3[7] coverage began, with the team heading to Los Angeles to cover the industry-wide event that showcases the newest and most exciting video games from dozens of publishers around the world.

The following year, coverage expanded to Fan Expo[8], out of Toronto, Canada. The event is the largest Comics, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime, and Gaming event in North America. Bringing thousands of people from across the world together to celebrate their passions and love for fan culture.

Console Creatures has been a consistent[9] source of daily news, previews, reviews and interviews. Since 2016, under the new leadership of Bobby Pashalidis, Console Creatures has continued to be a leader of truthful reporting of events within the gaming industry with thoughtful interviews of video game developers, insight into development and a "no-nonsense" style of writing.

As a solely independent media outlet, Console Creatures offers original and thoughtful content aiming for the 18 to 49-year-old demographic. With a roster of writers with experiencing in several other industries, including tech and television, Console Creatures has become a leader in Canadian games media, with the staff having set the standards for reporting and reviewing content from publishers.
