Construct-Bots is a line of buildable action figures based on characters from the Transformers franchise. The figures have a base skeleton with ball-and-socket articulation and feature pegs where armor and accessories can be attached. The toy line was released by Hasbro from 2013 to 2014.[1]

Overview

The first line of Construct-Bots was revealed by Hasbro at ToyFair 2013.[2] Sets are categorized into three classes such as Scout, Elite, and Triple-Changer. Elites include more accessories than Scouts and Triple-Changers can transform into two vehicle modes.[3] Hasbro planned to release another wave of figures, but the toy line was abruptly discontinued in 2014.[4]

Toy lines

In 2013, the first assortment was based on G1 characters, following a Beast Hunters line later in the fall.[5]

In 2014, the third assortment was based on Transformers Age of Extinction, which introduced Dinobot Warriors and smaller versions of Construct-Bots called Dinobot Riders.[6]
