From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) is a non-profit art institution for exhibitions in Kuwait. CAP has been acquiring its own art collection concentrating in modern and contemporary Arab and Middle Eastern art.

History[edit]

Art collector, Amer Huneidi, founded the organization in 2011 with a goal to promote modern and contemporary art in Kuwait. CAP opened its space to the public in September 2011 by launching its first exhibition titled “Face to Face” with Kuwaiti Art Collectors. This was intended to bring and introduce the community of Kuwait art collectors, artists and art lovers together.
