FILMHOUSE Cinemas, Nigeria
Filmhouse Cinemas is a leading cinema chain in Nigeria.[1][2] Since inception in December 2012, the company has delivered modern cinematic experiences through digital cinema technology, and luxurious dine-in cinema services.
In 2015, the company signed a pact with Canadian cine-tech giants – IMAX, to build the first IMAX theatre in West Africa[3]. This agreement birthed Filmhouse Cinemas Lekki in September, 2016. In January, 2019, the CEO Mr Kene Okwuosa announced in a press conference, that the company would be rolling out another IMAX theatre and launching their first MX4D theatre.[4][5] Filmhouse Cinemas currently operates 42 screens in their 10 cinema sites, located in 6 cities in Nigeria.
