After five years, Control expanded to San Francisco. Control SF is a Thursday night residency at w:Ruby Skye in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. Founder Ryan Jaso said this of the expansion, "We’ve always been really protective over what we did with the brand, and after 5 years we felt it was time to finally make a move. Expansion to SF was the next logical step to a venue that will allow us to put on top quality shows to complement our Friday nights at Avalon in Hollywood."[2]
Going Digital[edit]
Control launched a media company and digital magazine under their brand called Control Forever. Control Forever[6] is a daily, digital publication, concentrated on the incubation and growth of expression through the examination of popular culture and it’s periphery.
