Cooper Grech

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Cooper "Boops" Grech (born Scoopy Boo Grech on September 25, 1966) is an Australian social media personality best known for being a co-admin of his Facebook page “AFL Information, Trade Rumours & Results” which has over 200 followers, 50,000 banned accounts, and more blocks than a Minecraft server.

Grech has remained anonymous for most of his time on social media, but unfortunately chose to reveal himself as a sleep paralysis demon. His first appearance was in a barely anticipated interview with Prison Footy’s renowned misogynist and racist Tom Morris, which was released on YouTube and the hub on the 2nd of May 2021.

Grech is an Aussie Rules football fan, and is a die-hard Richmond supporter, and has been lucky enough to meet his idol Luke Beveridge. He has also stated that he would love to meet Marcus Bontempelli and Andrew Bogut one day as well, and that Joel Selwood is the greatest player of all time.

Cooper Grech is not recognised by many outside of social media, however he has proven himself as a delayed news repeater and has broken no stories. He claims to have broken the story of the Brad Hill signing by St Kilda and more recently, Craig McCrae being appointed the head coach of Collingwood. Grech was not given credit for either of these, because he doesn’t deserve it.

Grech is also the host of his weekly rant, “Kick it to Boops”, where he challenges himself to put at least six St. Kilda players in his team of the week.

Facebook presence[edit]

Cooper Grech is the fella behind his not so popular Facebook page, “AFL Information, Trade Rumours & Results” for several years. Grech co-administrates the page with Pestario Vargas from the critically-acclaimed 1997 kino "The Pest."

Contrary to what the name suggests, Grech barely keeps his followers up to date with information and breaking news in regards to the Australian Football League (AFL), rather he evokes his biased views and posts news hours after being broken using his beloved copy and pasta. Stories composed by Grech are usually rife with misspellings, lack of sentence structure, and a disregard for punctuation, which allowed Grech to be shortlisted for a position at CNN. Despite being subject to social media trolls, Grech often posts his opinions on current topics and issues surrounding the AFL, such as his woeful Brownlow medal predictions and his biased team of the year.

Grech's page is often the target of social media trolls which originate from the r/australia and r/afl subreddits on Reddit.

Fake Cristiano Ronaldo interview incident[edit]

On April 2, 2022, Grech claimed to have recorded an interview with Cristiano Ronaldo and provided a photograph of the so-called recording as proof. However, eagle-eyed followers noticed that the Cristiano Ronaldo footage is actually taken from a 2018 Instagram video in which he denies raping a woman in 2009. Hours after the post, Grech advertised T-shirts featuring the fake image.

Grech, despite not doing so just yet, will eventually claim that this was an April Fools' joke, even though April Fools Day falls on April 1, not April 2.

"Kick it to Boops" podcast[edit]

Cooper Grech’s famous (averages 100 views and 50 dislikes) podcast, “Kick it to Boops” was first released on Youtube, Spotify and Omegle during Round 8 of the 2021 AFL season. Since then, Grech has assisted 16 ear churning episodes. Some have described the podcast “as dreadful drivel”, while others have described it as "what the other guys said."

Similar to his Facebook page, Grech barely keeps his viewers updated on what’s happening in the AFL, as well as being a complete twat reviewing results from the past round and previewing upcoming matches. Grech also refuses to cover the women's competition AFLW, while also begging for women to appear on his podcast. Experts believe that Grech's disregard for women is an example of incel culture and warn that he may go full Joker and hold up his McDonald's with a super soaker filled with Jack Steele's sweat. Jacob Bevus, better known as “Bev” from “The Bev Show” has also made an appearance on the show. Boops described the episode as a “wet dream but I’m awake”.

Other segments of the podcast include the weekly edition of “Boops goes Bang,” where Booper expresses his anger towards a particular issue that has occurred in the past round of AFL, and his goal re-enactment attempts. Cooper attempts to re-enact some of the AFL’s finest goals, but has never been successful due to having a max kicking distance of 10 metres. Grech's mother, who spends an hour filming his son kicking one goal at the Lara Recreation Reserve every week, believes that Grech will crash the AFL will no survivors and to expect Tom Morris in the wreckage.

Retirement[edit]

Grech officially retired from journalism at least thirty-eight times between 2017 and 2022, returning each time only hours later to plug his merchandise. Items available include Boops-Brand Toilet Paper (in the form of tee-shirts) and Booper Bath Water.

Personal life[edit]

Grech currently plays cricket for the Little River Primary School sevenths team. In the 2021/22 season, Grech averaged 5.3 runs. Grech is also 'forever alone' due to his unwashed, disgusting appearance

Trivia[edit]

  • Grech can't tell the difference between Joel Selwood and Tom Atkins.
  • Grech is likely active in the incel community due to his longstanding lack of coverage of the AFL Women's competition, as well as his desperate attempts to get women onto his podcast.
  • Grech sells shirts and still can't afford a full copy of PowerDirector 365.
  • Grech defecated in his cargo shorts at the Engadine Maccas in 1997. As he ran out of the joint, he blamed a young Scott Morrison for his pooey undies.
  • Grech has never watched an AFL game that didn't involve the St. Kilda team from start to finish. All of his Team of the Week and Scoops Medal selections come from him looking at the fantasy team scores and picking random names with big numbers.
  • Contrary to what he says, Grech is not a hardworking journalist. He can't even cook my Chicken McNuggets enough.
  • Half of Grech's interviews are not interviews as he advertises. He buys personalised videos from Cameo.
  • Grech's page claimed that "all lives matter."[1] In response to backlash, Grech claimed it wasn't him and that "all the other people who operate" his page made the comment, which conflicts with his persistent claim of being the page's sole admin.
  • Grech couldn't get a girl on his page because he is a creepy freak
