Cora Jane Messer (born November 11th, 2012) is an American performer in the theater industry. She was on the national tour of *Les Misérables* from 2022-2023, and was featured on an episode of *The Equalizer* with Queen Latifah.
Early Years
Messer was born in Sarasota, Florida, to parents Carly and James Messer. She found her passion for theater when her mother, Carly, took her to acting classes while out shopping. She fell in love with acting and continued taking classes. She attended "The Out of Door Academy" from 3rd grade to 5th grade before moving to NYC.
Career and personal life
Messer started her career in a production of *The Sound of Music* at the Asolo Rep. After that, Messer went to audition for many productions, and finally, after many auditions, she booked the national tour of *Les Misérables*. She toured with this show for 14 months, meeting best friends like Hazel Vogel, Henry Kirk, and Olivia Lu. She ended her run in October of 2023 after 30+ cities. After her tour, she returned to her normal life and went back to school.
In the summer of 2024, she announced she was moving to New York City permanently. She is still living in New York, taking dance, music, and vocal classes every week.
