Corellia was a fictional planet in the Star Wars universe, widely known as the homeworld of Han Solo. Solo's ship, the Millennium Falcon, was built on Corellia.[1] People from Corellia are commonly referred to as Corellians. It was first mentioned in the 1977 film Star Wars, but made its latest appearance in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[2] Other notable fictional people from Corellia include Qi'ra, Wedge Antilles and Crix Madine.[3]
Physical characteristics and environment

Corellia is widely known within the Star Wars universe for its "golden sands" around a sea that is surrounded by ice glaciers.[4] Corellia also features rainforests, grasslands and jungles.
Animal wildlife
The most common animal to be seen on Corellia is the Corellian hound, which are also known as Sibian hounds. The Corellian hound has a white skin color, orange eye color and are usually 0.7 meters in height. They also have regenerating teeth.[5][6] Corellian hounds can also be found on Ushruu, where they are simply referred to as snarlers.[7]
Other animals of Corellia include the bluevev glider, the coppergrin, the fleek eel, the garsmelt, the lancepyke, the needlegawp, the pulsar skate and the scalefin fish.[8]
