Corellia was a fictional planet in the Star Wars universe, widely known as the homeworld of Han Solo. Solo's ship, the Millenium Falcon, was built on Corellia.[1] People from Corellia are commonly referred to as Corellians. It was first mentioned in the 1977 film Star Wars, but made its latest appearance in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[2] Other notable fictional people from Corellia include Qi'ra, Wedge Antilles and Crix Madine.[3]
Physical characteristics and environment[edit]
Corellia is widely known within the Star Wars universe for its "golden sands" around a sea that is surrounded by ice glaciers.[4] Corellia also features rainforests, grasslands and jungles.
Animal wildlife[edit]
The most common animal to be seen on Corellia is the Corellian hound, which are also known as Sibian hounds. The Corellian hound has a white skin color, orange eye color and are usually 0.7 meters in height. They also have regenerating teeth.[5][6] Corellian hounds can also be found on Ushruu, where they are simply referred to as snarlers.[7]
Other animals of Corellia include the bluevev glider, the coppergrin, the fleek eel, the garsmelt, the lancepyke, the needlegawp, the pulsar skate and the scalefin fish.[8]
