Corinne Moss-Racusin is an American physicist.[1] Corinne Moss-Racusin is an American sociologist, studying gender-based discrimination.

Education[edit]

Moss-Racusin received her B.A. from New York University, where she studied Psychology, Creative Writing, and French and completed a senior honors thesis with Dr. Madeline Heilman. She then worked as a research assistant at the Yale Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity with Dr. Kelly Brownell. She received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology in March 2011 from Rutgers University, working primarily with Dr. Laurie Rudman and also Dr. Diana Sanchez.

Career[edit]

Moss-Racusin is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Skidmore College. She then completed a Postdoctoral Associate position at Yale University, working with Dr. John Dovidio in the Yale Intergroup Relationships Lab, and Dr. Jo Handelsman in the Center for Scientific Teaching.

SCID Lab[edit]

With the Social Cognition and Intergroup Dynamics Lab, Moss-Racusin studies the manifestations of gender-based discrimination in the contemporary STEM workplace. Her work has been featured in the New Yorker, the Atlantic, the Washington Post and Last Week Tonight among other outlets.[2][3][4][5]
