Cornerstone Building Brands is the result of a merger between NCI Building Systems and PlyGem Building Products that was first announced in 2018.[2]
In 2019, the company arrived at the new name of Cornerstone Building Brands with the new ticker symbol CNR. The company is run by CEO James Metcalf and is headquartered in Cary, NC.[3]
