For a time it has had a movie theatre, the only one downtown succeeding the half dozen that once thrived.[1] Its name refers to Cornwall Street, between 11th Avenue and Railway Street (now "Saskatchewan Drive"), which was closed to allow the shopping centre to take the form it has.

The Cornwall Centre is open seven days a week:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Saturday: 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30 am – 9:00 pm
  • Sunday: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Starting late November, the shopping centre offers extended hours (9:30am to 9:00pm Monday to Friday) for holiday shopping.

The Cornwall Centre is managed by 20Vic Management Inc.
