Corwen Football Club is based in Corwen, a town in rural North Wales.
The first club was established in 1887 and played in the first ever Welsh Cup in that year.
Corwen were reformed in 1966 and until 2000 were called Corwen Amateurs. They played in the Welsh National League (Wrexham Area) until 2019 aside from one Cymru Alliance season in 1999/2000.[1] Highlights in this time included reaching the 2008 FAW Trophy final where they lost to Rhos Aelwyd F.C.
In 2019/20 Corwen played in the new tier 2 league, the Cymru North but they came 15th and were relegated.
