Cosmetify is a price comparison website specialising in the health, beauty and cosmetics sector.[1] The company is based in the United Kingdom.[2]
History
Cosmetify was launched in 2019 by Matt Davies when he noticed the disparity in sale prices between cosmetic retailers.[3][4] Davies was previously the majority-owner of Direct Ferries, a ferry travel aggregator service. He sold that company in 2016 to Livingbridge[5][6], a private-equity firm based in London, and subsequently set up Cosmetify.
In 2021, Cosmetify launched its service in the United States.[7]
How it works
Cosmetify collects data directly from brands and retailers, aggregating the results on its website, earning money through third-party affiliate marketing partners.[8]
Features
Cosmetify also produces regular reports and insights on beauty industry trends, some of which have been featured in publications such as Glamour[9] and Cosmopolitan.[10]
