The Cougars Den is located in Danville, Virginia, and serves as the home stadium for the Averett University Cougars football, men's and women's soccer teams.[1] The Den has a maximum seating capacity of 1,500.[1]

The university began construction in 2014 with the vision of new turf and lights for their existing stadium.[2] The facility upgrade was part of the school's commitment to porgress and growth within the school and the athletic program. In 2021, the school announced moving to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference starting in the 2022-2023 academic year and the stadium upgrades have played an important part in that move.[3]
