County TV and Appliance is a family-owned retail chain that sells home appliances and electronics in the Northeastern United States. The company was founded in 1952 and has grown to become one of the largest independent appliance retailers in the region.

History[edit]

County TV and Appliance was founded in Stamford, Connecticut in 1952 by Sol and Rose Kestenbaum. The original store, which sold televisions and radios, was located on Atlantic Street. In 1963, the Kestenbaums expanded the business by adding appliances to their inventory.

In the 1970s, County TV and Appliance continued to grow, opening additional locations throughout Connecticut and New York.

Products and services[edit]

County TV and Appliance sells a variety of home appliances and electronics, including refrigerators, ovens, washers and dryers, televisions, and audio equipment. The company carries products from a range of brands, including Samsung, LG, Bosch, and Whirlpool.

In addition to sales, County TV and Appliance also offers installation and repair services. The company's team of trained technicians can install new appliances and repair existing ones.

County TV and Appliance is active in the communities where it operates. The company supports a variety of local organizations and charities, including the Boys and Girls Club, the American Cancer Society, and the Connecticut Food Bank.
