Courtney Tezeno (born December 12, 1990) is an American entertainment journalist, television personality, and producer. In 2021, Tezeno was announced as host of the Cash in the Attic.[1] revival on HGTV. Tezeno was named co-host of Close Up by E! News airing on streaming service Quibi [2]. She appeared as a host, producer and guest correspondent for Entertainment Tonight[3].

Personal Life[edit]

Courtney Tezeno was born on December 12, 1990 in Houston, TX. She went to Hightower High School[4] in Missouri City, TX. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelors in journalism and minor in business in 2013 [5]

Tezeno married celebrity photographer Leepole Hicks Jr. In May 2021, the couple wed in a Tuscany inspired garden in New Braunfels, Texas.[6]

Entertainment broadcasting[edit]

Tezeno worked in local news as a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor for NBC-affiliate KOMU in Columbia, Missouri in 2011. She was as a writer and anchor for Newsy reporting on national and entertainment news for the network. After college, Tezeno was a reporter for Youtube network, Hollyscoop, where she produced and hosted daily entertainment news stories.[7].

From 2015 to 2019, Tezeno was a host and producer for Entertainment Tonight. During her tenure, she covered award shows, red carpets, trending videos and live interviews for Entertainment Tonight Online[8]. She has been a recurring on-camera host forTrinity Broadcasting Network's sister station, JUCE-TV, for it's monthly Christian music countdown show, TX10. In 2020, she joined NBC Universal as co-host of 'Close of by E! News' hosting daily entertainment news stories on the app and interviewing celebrities [9].

She is a Hollywood contributor for UK's breakfast television show Lorraine on ITV. Tezeno is a passionate collector who hosts the revival of Cash in the Attic on HGTV which premiered in September 2021. She teams up with of expert appraisers including Elyse Luray, Jean David Michel and Marvin Jules to sort through homes looking for classic toys, vintage comics, original video games and other valuable pop culture treasures.[10]

Other Ventures[edit]

Tezeno was a semi-finalist in the Miss California USA pageant [11] in 2016 as Miss West Hollywood.
