Cprime, Inc is a global agile and technology consulting firm. The company was founded in 2003, and headquartered in San Mateo, California. Cprime specializes in agile transformations, product development, and technology integrations. The company has offices in North America, Europe, and Asia.[1]

History and Overview[edit]

Cprime, Inc was founded in 2003 by Von (Chris) Holbrook, in Foster City, California, USA.[2] It was later converted from a LLC to a Corporation in 2007 when Zubin Irani joined Von Holbrook as co-founder.

Cprime was formed as a Project Management consulting firm. The name comes from the calculation of factorial and product of two positive integers.

In 2009, Cprime training was formed to provide project management training courses and certifications.

In 2010-2013, the company expanded into agile and Atlassian consulting services.[2]

In 2012, Cprime became an Atlassian partner focusing on the Jira Agile product line (called GreenHopper at the time)

In 2012, Cprime was accredited a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Gold SPCT Partner.

In 2018, Cprime and Amazon Web Services (AWS) partnered and was accredited as an Advanced Consulting Partner.[3]

In 2019, after the acquisition of American Society of Professional Education (ASPE), Cprime relaunched their training division as Cprime Learning, to provide professional development and certification training.

In 2020, Cprime became the first Jira Align Specialist.

In mid-2021, Cprime launched the product software development division, Cprime Studios, to provide services in every area of the product development life cycle.

The company provides training, coaching, transformation, and software development services. Cprime is a leading global Agile and DevOps solutions provider. Cprime is the partner for Fortune 100 companies.[1][1][4]

Acquisitions[edit]

In 2014, Cprime joined Alten Group, a French multinational technology consulting and engineering company.[5]

In 2017, Cprime acquired DevJam, a North American consulting firm specializing in DevOps and Software Services Lifecycle Management (SSLM).[6]

In 2017, Cprime acquired Blue Agility, an American consulting and training firm specializing in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) transformations.

In 2019, Cprime acquired the assets of American Society of Professional Education (ASPE) to spread its professional training and certification solutions to individuals and enterprises.[7]

In 2020, Cprime acquired Ukrainian IT service firm Archer Software.[8]

In 2021, Cprime’s subsidiary, Cprime UK Ltd., acquired UK-based enterprise agility company Radtac Ltd.[9]
