Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is an upcoming main-series title in the Crash Bandicoot series, developed by Toys For Bob and published by Activision for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.[1] The game is the chronological sequal to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. [2]

Picking up not long after the events of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.

The game was first properly teased on the June 18 2020, where several videogame news reporters were sent jigsaw puzzles that revealed a new, mysterious mask character.The next day, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee filed a rating for the game, revealing its title, box art, a short plot synopsis, the game's developer, Toys For Bob.[3]As of now, only only a few in-game screenshots from a leaked trailer have been revealed.[4] More information was announced during Summer Games Fest 2020 on 22 June.[5]
