Creative Education Studio Tbilisi
Creative Education Studio (CES) is a creative media school located in Tbilisi, Georgia. Founded in 2011, by musician and producer Natia Sartania (sTia), CES specializes in music and design and holds practical courses for students. Creative Education Studio is considered a leading creative media school in Tbilisi[1][2]
Out of the success of CES, Creative Education Studio emerged CES Records, founded as a way of bringing Georgia’s upcoming musicians more recognition abroad[3]. The label features a roster of talented artists such as Nikakoi, Natalie Beridze, Gogi Dzodzuashvili, Anushka Chkheidze, sTia, Ani Zakareishvili, and more. Among others, CES records released Natela Svanidze’s electronic music recorded in 1974 for her Georgian Lamentations, “Epitaphium”. The recording was groundbreaking for the time[4].
In addition to its record label, CES maintains an online music publishing platform called "Dancing on Architecture" (DOA). DOA was formed by CES Music Journalism Course students in 2020 and focuses solely on music news coverage.
Location
CES is a resident of the Fabrika[5] - a multi-function urban space in a former sewing factory in Tbilisi.[6]
