Creed Warner
Creed Franklin Warner (born August 11, 1980), who goes by the stage name Creed Warner,[1] is an American gospel musician, songwriter, and record label executive. He started his professional music career in 1997, by performing and touring with Country and Gospel legends including: Jack Greene, Jeannie Seeley, Jan Howard, and Jean Shepard, The Gospel Harmony Boys, and the Royal Heirs. His first solo album, *Landing Lights*, was released in 2012 by his VECA Records[2] imprint.
Early life
Warner was born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 11, 1980, as Creed Franklin Warner. His early years were spent with his Grandfather Virgil Mullins of the successful Southern Gospel Quartet, The Jericho Travelers.
Career
Creed Warner has played piano and sung professionally with Country music artists: Jack Greene, Jeannie Seeley, Jan Howard, and Jean Shepard from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville to The Gospel Harmony Boys and the Royal Heirs. He has written over 500 Country, Christian, and Gospel songs that have been sung by numerous artists in the Christian Music Industry.
After 20 successful years in Christian music, in 2001 Warner launched Family Tree Entertainment Inc. in Ashland, KY, later renamed VECA Records. The first artist to sign to his label was Bottomline, a bluegrass gospel quartet from Greenup, Kentucky. Warner catapulted the group to success and they were subsequently nominated for a 2003 Dove Award[3] for Bluegrass Gospel album of the year. VECA is now located in the heart of downtown Tampa Bay, and has a roster of over 20 signed artists from all genres of the Christian Music Industry.
In 2017, Warner was fortunate to be signed to a management contract with music industry veteran, Mimi Jones of the Madizon Jones Group.[4] Warner just released his new single, "Until You", a song based on the tragic shooting of famous gospel musician, Marcus Stanley.
