Cretacolor is an Austrian brand of writing implements, specialized in art materials. The brand is owned by Brevillier Urban & Sachs.[1]
Overview
Carl Brevillier founded the Zeus pencil factory in 1863 to produce high-quality writing and drawing tools for the public. Hans Wolfgang Hromatka purchased the pencil factory in 1996, preventing the company’s closure and renaming it CRETACOLOR.[2]
