Cristian Marino (born February 1982 in Milan,Italy ) is an Italian chef ,books author and gastronome [1][2][3]
Early life[edit]
Born in Lombardy into an Italian family, he moved to Calabria at a very young age where his parents ran a restaurant in southern Italy. Since he was a child, Marino has lived traveling between Italy (Calabria, Milan, Sestriere, Cesana Torinese) and Corsica, France. He then returned to Stresa at the age of 17 and began his career as a traveling chef.
Career[edit]
His career has taken him to work for various luxury hotel and ship companies on 3 different continents including: InterContinental, Marriott, Radisson Blu and Silversea. Cristian has worked in several countries around the world, including: Dubai, Indonesia, Maldives, Spain, England, Romania, Croatia.
Private life[edit]
Marino loves healthy living and enjoys swimming at an amateur level.Known for being quite reserved on aspects of his life not related to the activity of chef and author. Cristian published his first book in English in 2021 where he recounts the misadventure of him locked up in a prison room in Kuala Lumpur airport in March 2020.[4]

Culinary Philosophy[edit]
Cristian is an exponent of Italian culinary culture. As such he bases his working concepts on simplicity [8][9][10]
His healthy lifestyle is reflected in his work and is therefore a representative of simple cuisine based on the quality of raw ingredients.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
