Cristina Gherghel (born 1975[1]) is a Romanian author and blogger.

Born in Gherăești, Moldova, during a communist regime, Cristina is the tenth child and the seventh daughter of Maria and Iosif Gherghel. She fluently speaks Italian and English and has written books on several subjects, including communism, immigration, and spirituality. She has also written Memoirs, novels (romance), self-development and self-help books, motivational and inspirational pieces, and poems.

In 2012, she started blogging under the name Cristina Green. From 2016 to 2020, she signed books with Cristina G., and in 2021 chose to publish with her birth name: Cristina Gherghel.

She lived in Italy from 2000 to 2010, and in England from 2014 to 2019. She then returned to England again, where she is currently residing.

In March 2014, Cristina won a monthly creative writing competition with the post ''Am Vrut să Simt că Trăiesc”[2][3] On the 25th of December 2016 her first self-published book in English was released, namely 'Oranges at Christmas in a Communist Country'.

On April 7th, 2019 Published by Sapientia: 14 nuanţe de roşu. Amintiri din copilăria comunistă. „Epoca de Aur”[4]

2019 started publishing posts on Ziarul de Roman[5] having just 2k followers on Instagram.
