A style of Smoked Turkey cooked vertically on 32 oz Crowler can of Beer. Chef David Pena of Braindead Brewing in Dallas, Texas first served the dish as a celebration of the brewpub's 3 year anniversary, March 4th 2018. It is a natural transition of the popular southern dish, Beer Can Chicken. As part of the craft beer movement in the United States, Crowlers, (32 oz cans of beer) have built in popularity. The larger can supports the size of the turkey.
