CuddlyNest, Inc operates as an online travel agency and travel technology marketplace that offers hotels, hostels, vacation homes, and other property types, with over four million listings in 80,000 cities.[1] Founded in 2017 by Haitham Saead and Ritesh Raj,[2] it is based in Orlando, Florida.

History[edit]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, CuddlyNest COO and Co-Founder Ritesh Raj claimed that bookings fell and were no longer at pre-COVID levels,[3] but that there was a rise in domestic bookings.[4] In June 2020, the platform introduced a sanitation filter that measures the cleaning frequency of each property and the last guest check-out.[5]

In March 2021, CuddlyNest announced that it had appointed Nitin Manchanda, the former global head of SEO at Omio and Trivago, as Chief Growth Officer.[6] Manchanda was added to the team to formulate a growth strategy for CuddlyNest that is rooted in scalability, strategic automation, and strategic partnerships.[7][8]

Financing[edit]

CuddlyNest has raised a total of $10.5 million. In October 2020 it announced that it raised an additional of $6 million from investors.[9][10]
