Culture Custodian is a Nigerian media company that launched in 2014 with the goal of creating stories for Nigerian and African millennials in an authentic fashion through audio, visual and written content.

History

Culture Custodian was founded by Aedan Asika, Mayowa Idowu, and Tito Amuchienwa in March 2014. Since its launch, the media company has featured Nigerian artists like Davido, Boj, GMK, PsychoYP, Lil Kesh and more on the journey to becoming one of the more authoritative platforms on the Nigerian music scene. Along the way, Culture Custodian has grown arguably the best Instagram page and social media platform for members of the diaspora and Nigerian locals to stay up to date with what is going on in Nigerian music. This has culminated in their content featuring on websites like Billboard and Complex.
