Custom Picture Frames
Custom Picture Frames, an American online custom framing shop, was founded in 2015 by Anthony Fontana. Located in South River, New Jersey, the online custom framers provide custom picture frames, shadow boxes, canvas frames and specialty frames to consumers and businesses alike throughout the United States.

The company started as a passion project for Anthony. He started framing for his friends and family and then word spread. Due to demand, he was able to open a small custom framing shop. As the company grew, he launched the website and marketplaces, expanded the shop and made many changes to focus heavily on sustainability.
He was able to offer his high-quality craftsmanship while making custom framing more affordable and accessible to all. The company’s products have been featured on interior design websites, such as Apartment Therapy.
In April 2021, the company purchased an industrial facility in Somerset, New Jersey. Custom Picture Frames relocated their custom framing shop and office to the 45,300-square-foot building from South River, New Jersey..[1]
Sustainability[edit]
The company is dedicated to sustainability initiatives.
The company is a New Jersey Sustainable business, utilizing packaging that is Sustainable Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified, donating scrap acrylic to local theaters for set building and placing large and less frequent vendor orders to cut down on the environmental impact of frequent truck deliveries.
As a proud supporter of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), the company uses uniquely engineered shipping boxes that are SFI certified. To be SFI certified, the boxes must be manufactured with materials that are certified to the SFI 2015-2019 (Extended through December 2021) Fiber Sourcing Standard or come from recycled content, or from a certified forest.

In 2019, Custom Picture Frames was ranked 646 out of 5000[2] on the Inc’s 5000 Fastest Growing Businesses making them one of the 128 businesses to make it onto the list from New Jersey[3]
NJBIZ also named CustomPictureFrames.com as one of their Fast 50 award winners in 2019[4].
The Business Intelligence Group named CustomPictureFrames.com as one of the winners of their Small Business of the Year in their Big Awards for Business in 2019[5] and 2020[6].
