Cybernet, founded in 1996, is an American computer hardware company headquartered in Irvine, California.[1]
History
Cybernet Manufacturing was founded in 1996 with a focus on developing compact all-in-one computer systems for business and specialized industrial applications. The company was established in Irvine, California, where it continues to maintain its corporate headquarters. Over time, Cybernet expanded its product portfolio to include medical-grade computers, rugged tablets, industrial panel PCs, and enterprise computing systems.[2]
During the 2000s and 2010s, the company increased its presence in the healthcare technology market through the development of computers and tablets designed for clinical environments. Cybernet's products have been used in hospitals, manufacturing facilities, government organizations, educational institutions, and other enterprise settings.[3]
Advanced Digital Corporation
Acquired. In 1990, the company was acquired by Advanced Interlink, an IBM PC-related products company, for an undisclosed sum reported at $10 million. Asadi remained with the company briefly following the acquisition before departing to found Cybernet Manufacturing.[4]
