Cynthia Verazie (born Cynthia Veronica Zietara[1][2] on November 2, 2002) is a Cypriot-Polish singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus. Verazie began singing and playing piano at a very young age, participating in singing competitions[3] around the world. Her singing career gained media attention in 2017, when she first appeared on the reality TV singing competition Rising Star[4][5] being the youngest contestant in the history of the show at the age of 14. Verazie was a controversial figure[6][7] on the show, not speaking the language required and being below the admittance age, however despite all that, she still managed to earn herself a favorable reputation, especially with her coach judge Despina Vandi[8][9], and the Greek Singer Marinella.
Following her success in Greece and Cyprus, Verazie moved to Oslo, Norway[10] in 2018, pursuing a formal education at The Barratt Due Institute of Music[11] in operatic singing, as well as making a brief appearance in Norwegian Idol[12][13] and UKM.[14]
In the summer of 2019, she performed as the youngest contestant at The Golden Stag Festival[15], and made a TV appearance in TVP Polonia[16] for winning the singing & dance competition Muszelki Wigier[17][18] in Poland.
