Déjà rêvé (/déjàà rêvéà/) DAY-zhah-RAY-vay French for "already dreamed" is a phenomenon in which a person feels they have experienced something before in a dream.[1][2] The experience refers to Déjà rêvé is a French loanword, and the phenomenon has been referenced since ancient times, being a subject of interest, myth and legend.[3] Déjà rêvé is considered "Déjà vu" in a reverse order; instead of feeling a sense of previous familiarity, a heavy sensation that one has dreamed the event before it happened is common.[4]
