D.A.V PG College Siwan

D. A. V. Post Graduate College is one of the prestigious institutes for education located at Siwan^[1]. It was established in 1941. It is a constituent college of Jai Prakash University chhapra. This college is offering many facilities for students overall growth like sports, fully disciplined campus, Laboratory, NCC, hostel room etc. it is co-educational institution. Intermediate, U.G.-Honours and P.G. courses are available in Arts, Science and Commerce disciplines. It has been recognized by the University Grants Commission under section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act 1956^[2].

Admission process[edit]

Admission is fully based on merit basis. Every year thousands of students apply for admission in various subjects. But hundreds are selected on merit basis and get admission.

Ragging[edit]

Ragging is totally banned in this college. It is a criminal offence and so strictly prohibited in this college. Every student must have to obey discipline in the campus. If one violates the rules and regulations of this college he or she may be barred from institution.

Study Centre[edit]

IGNOU and Nalanda Open University. Students can also visit for taking admission in both open universities. Here students can get any information regarding these two open universities^[5].
