David Samuel Hudson

David Samuel Hudson is a Maltese author and journalist[1] born in Malta on the 28th of May, 1990. He is the first Maltese author to win an international prize for fiction and to be longlisted. He is an award-winning journalist, a recipient of a national IGM prize for best investigative story of the year. He is published in various magazines and anthologies, including Arizona State University's Everything Change Vol. 2, Ad Hoc Fiction's The Lobster's Run Free, Fatal Flaw, and Scribble. David is the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts with honours in English from the University of Malta where his dissertation Venturesome Solitude, Solitude Ventured was published, and holds a Master's in creative writing from Bath Spa University for which he obtained a distinction. He was published in the university's annual anthology entitled Threads. His first novel manuscript has been shortlisted for the Janklow and Nesbit prize. He is currently working on his debut.
