DAAily platforms
DAAily platforms is a media company, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, which operates global online channels Designboom, Architonic and ArchDaily.[1]
Combined, the three websites constitute the largest provider of premium architecture and design content worldwide.[2]
With offices in Zurich, Berlin, Stuttgart, Milan, Windhoek, Santiago de Chile, Mexico City and Shanghai, DAAily platforms is owned by the NZZ Mediengruppe.[3]
History
Architonic, founded in 2003, was acquired by the NZZ Mediengruppe in 2015.[4]
In 2020, Architonic purchased ArchDaily to create Architonic ArchDaily AG.[5]
In January of 2022, Architonic ArchDaily AG acquired online design magazine Designboom, and in doing so formed a new company of three global online architecture and design channels – named DAAily platforms.[6]
Organisation
DAAily platforms is led by CEO Stephan Bachmann, who was previously COO of Architonic and who specialises in topics relating to Web 3.0 and the Metaverse.[7]
