DAF Virtual Experience
DAF Virtual Experience
The DAF virtual experience is a virtual tour of a fictional DAF warehouse, designed to display a selection of their trucks online. The Virtual Experience lets players navigate the virtual space, viewing many different DAF model trucks, and lets them listen to voice lines explaining the history and mechanics of each of the trucks. Downloadable image advertisements for the trucks are also available. There is also a virtual museum and shop that people can visit. The virtual experience also has a virtual drive component, a modified version of Euro Truck Simulator 2, made in partnership with Nvidia. The virtual drive allows people to test out 4 different DAF brand trucks on a small course.
Virtual Drive
The DAF virtual drive allows people to test 4 different DAF brand trucks, including the New Generation DAF XF, New Generation DAF XG, New Generation DAF XG+, and the DAF XF Super Space. The game has a very small speedrunning community who try to complete the course as fast as possible without running out of time or crashing the trucks. The virtual drive has many of the same features as Euro Truck Simulator 2, including detaching the trailer for extra speed, multiple camera angles, and GPS guidance system.
