DANISH ENDURANCE
DANISH ENDURANCE is a Danish sport and outdoor brand based in Copenhagen.
The brand was founded in 2014 by brothers, and running and outdoor enthusiasts, Nicolaj and Ole Christoffer Due[1]. As a family-owned brand, DANISH ENDURANCE closely monitors every aspect of the production process – from the product idea itself, through its development, design, and manufacturing.
Since its early beginnings, DANISH ENDURANCE has gradually expanded its product range, now encompassing a wide range of socks, underwear and fitness accessories[2][3]. All DANISH ENDURANCE products can be found in their official online webshop since the brand does not have any physical retailers.
All DANISH ENDURANCE products are designed in Denmark, in collaboration with Olympic athletes and outdoor endurance athletes. As of 2019, the brand closely collaborates with the Olympic Runner Stina Troest, the Handball Player Casper U. Mortensen, and the Mountain Athlete Rasmus Kragh.
DANISH ENDURANCE Award
The biennial DANISH ENDURANCE Award is a facilitation of the brand's core pillars. Here, the achievements of the brand ambassadors – consisting of proven endurance athletes – are celebrated, highlighted, and rewarded. This is in efforts to promote and encourage exercise.
In 2017, the Award was awarded to the Danish Olympic Runner Stina Troest in support of her efforts towards the Olympics in 2020.
The following DANISH ENDURANCE Award took place on June 4th, 2019, where Rasmus Kragh received the Award as a result of becoming the first Danish man to climb Mount Everest without the use of artificial oxygen.[4]
