Based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, the family business DBS Energy was founded in October 2015.[1]
DBS Leoch Ltd.[edit]
From January 2018, DBS Energy entered into a joint venture with manufacturer Leoch Battery PTE.[2] This official partnership between the two companies led to the name of DBS Leoch Ltd.
Leoch Battery UK Ltd.[edit]
From February 2020 Leoch Battery acquired 100% stake in DBS Leoch. Renaming the company Leoch Battery UK Ltd, it is now the UK subsidiary of Leoch International.

RELiON Battery[edit]
RELiON is a US-based lithium ion battery manufacturer[5]. DBS Leoch Ltd. is the sole distributor of RELiON batteries in the UK. RELiON Battery possess several certificates such as UN. 38.3 and International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, ISO 2009 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System. [6]
Certifications and Accreditations[edit]
Leoch Battery UK is a member of several trade associations. These include British Marine,[7] British Battery Industry Federation, [8] Inland Waterways Association [9] and the Electric Boat Association.[10] The Company is also a member of the National Caravan Council (NCC)[11], who has verified 9 DBS Leoch products [12] under the NCC Verified Leisure Battery Scheme in Class A and Class C [13]. The Company has also received an ISO 9001:2015 from the ISO 9000 family of standards,[14] for meeting quality standards criteria.
