DC Brawlers
The DC Brawlers are a team in the National Pro Grid League (NPGL) that formed in 2014.[1][2] In the first NPGL season, the Brawlers filled their roster with largely unknown athletes instead of more popular CrossFit Games athletes,[1][3][4] yet they went on to become the NPGL champions in the 2014 season.[5] The Brawlers also have their own official minor league team within the Southern Amateur GRID League, the Atlanta Assassins.[6]
2015 season[edit]
In 2015 The DC Brawlers had their 2nd undefeated season in a row in both the regular season.[7] They then went on to sweep the 2015 playoffs making them back to back champions defeating the Phoenix Rise for the title.[8]
