DC Capital Partners is a private investment fund that controls contracting companies that do business with the U.S. government including Caliburn International.[1] The company has been subject to controversy over its role in operating detention facilities for immigrants.[2] DC Capital Partners also controls Sallyport Global Services which runs Balad Air Base in Iraq.[3] DC Capital was founded in 1992.[4]

The company bought Comprehensive Health Services (CHS) in 2018. The holding company had a 4.8 percent stake in Superior Industries International (NYSE: SUP) in 2019.[4] The firm sold QRC Technologies to Parsons Corporation in 2019.[5][6]

Thomas Campbell is a founding partner at the company.[7] General John Kelly sat on the firm's board before joining the Trump administration and joined Caliburn's board after departing the Trump administration.[8]
