DC K.O.[lower-alpha 1] is a 2025–2026 American comic book crossover storyline presented by DC Comics. As part of the DC All In initiative, it is the third crossover event after "We are Yesterday" and "The Starbreaker Supremacy". The main series was written by Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder, and drawn by Javi Fernández, and debuted on October 8, 2025.[2]
Premise
Various heroes and villians compete in a tournament so that the winner can obtain enough energy to confront Darkseid, who has returned to the DC Universe after creating and absorbing power from the Absolute Universe.[3][4]
Publication history
DC K.O. is a crossover event presented by DC Comics, as part of the DC All In initiative. It is being written by Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder, and drawn by Javi Fernández, set to be published on October 8, 2025.[2] According to Williamson and Snyder, this event will focus on Superman as main protagonist, compared to Batman in Dark Nights: Metal and Wonder Woman in Dark Nights: Death Metal.[5][6]
The event also features guest third-party characters like Homelander (The Boys), Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat), Annabelle (The Conjuring), Red Sonja, Vampirella and Samantha (Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees).[7]
