Christopher Buza (born August 15, 1986), known professionally by his stage name DJ Buza or Buza, is an American DJ, producer and drummer. Active since 2009, he now tours internationally with a base in Las Vegas.[1] He has performed with major acts such as the Migos, Tyga, Tory Lanez, Lil Jon, Desiigner, O.T. Genasis, Rick Ross, Diplo, T.I., 50 Cent, Juicy J, Travis Porter, and Sean Paul, among many others. He is known for mashing hip hop acapellas with house tracks, adding his own live drumming to many of the mixes.[2]
Career
Buza began his career in Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach, Florida. After gaining a name for himself with club residencies and featured spots at Vince Neil's, Dr. FeelGood's, Pawn$hop, Monarch, the Loft, in festivals like SunFest, and producing his own parties,[3] he moved into the larger Las Vegas market in 2016. Buza marked his rise in Vegas with residencies in venues including Hakkasan,[4] 1 Oak, Omnia, Drai's, Jewel, Caesar's Palace, Hyde, Liquid, Bears and others.[5] He also toured established venues around the US such as DJ Mag Top 100 venues Aura in Houston, Texas, and E11even in Miami, Florida.
In 2019, Buza released the single LOVE with Eric Remy featuring Corey Ellis,[6] following up with the singles "Into the Fire" and "Bounce Back."[7][8][9]
In 2019, Buza formed the group Limited Tym with DJ and music producer Eric Remy.[10] Limited Tym released the album GROW in 2019, leading with the single "wanna grow old (i won't let go)" featuring XXXTentacion. The project also paired Limited Tym with Grammy Award-winning producer Vinny Vinito to release the single "Don't Give Up" with Los Padres and Dyson under the Be Yourself label in 2019.
In 2016, Buza released Bounce Like This featuring Sissy Nobby. The song was featured on the TBS television show Claws.
In 2017, he was a featured performer at the 2017 Miss USA afterparty. He was also the featured performer at the 2020 Gatorade pre-Super Bowl party.
