DJ GQ is an American musical artist, DJ and record producer.[1] In 2020, he reached the Billboard charts with his EP Is It You?,[2] and has been Kevin Lyttle’s tour DJ for years.[3]

Life and career

Born in Miami, Florida, DJ GQ started his music career at a very tender age.[4] Over the years, he has worked with notable names such as Akon, DMX, Mr. Vegas, Skip Marley and others.[5][6][7] He has been Kevin Lyttle's tour DJ for years.[8]

In October 2016, DJ GQ opened GQ's Craft House, a craft beer bar and Hookah Lounge in Lauderhill, Florida.[9] On October 9, 2020, DJ GQ released his first album Is It You? which charted #1 on the iTunes Reggae charts in its first 2 hours, and #10 on the Billboard Reggae charts in its second week.[10][11]

DJ GQ performs internationally on a yearly basis and holds South Florida night club residencies weekly.[12] He was on Remix Top 30 with Hollywood Hamilton in 150 cities, and was the first Top40 Mixer on Y100.[13] He is still currently on Y100 Miami (iHeart) weekly, and Specialty mixes on Bob Marley's Tuff Gong Radio (SirusXM).[14][15]
