DJ Greg Street
Gregory Polk.[1] professionally known as DJ Greg Street, is an American disc jockey, record producer, and host on Atlanta's V-103 radio station [2]. DJ Greg Street has been on radio air waves for over 20 years beginning in Mississippi (WORV-WJMG), Alabama (WBLX 93), Houston (KMJQ), and Dallas (K-104/KKDA) [2]. DJ Greg Street has contributed to the careers of Master P, Lil Wayne, Cyhi Da Prynce, Big Sean, B.o.B., Trick Daddy, Nicki Minaj, Ice Cube, Meek Mill [3],OutKast, UGK, Rick Ross, and more [4].
Sneaker Friends[edit]
DJ Greg Street is responsible for the annual Sneaker Friends convention established in 2006 [5]. Sneaker Friends has brought sneaker collectors from all over the globe to enjoy exclusive sneakers, live music performances, and the hip hop culture. Sneaker Friends has taken place at Atlanta's Fox Theater and Philips Arena, and has also made its way to Toronto and Houston. DJ Greg Greet has been dubbed as one the country's top sneaker collectors [6].
WeNeed2Read[edit]
DJ Greg Street is also the creator of WeNeed2Read, an initiative to boost literacy and comprehension levels in elementary and high school students enrolled in inner city schools [7]. For over 10 years WeNeed2Read has donated thousands of dollars in scholarships to participating students. In 2015, Cash Money Records hired DJ Greg Street to oversee their content division, the book publishing arm of the hip hop empire [8]
