Marcus Gebetsroither (born 14 February 1996), professionally known as DJ Stunner[3][4], is an established Swazi DJ, TV Host/Presenter and Producer. He is recognised for his brilliant talent as an experienced DJ and not being afraid to experiment with different sounds. DJ Stunner is also known for teaching the international star Uncle Waffles [5] [6] the ins and outs of DJing in 2021. He has been teasing unreleased tracks at multiple events, but has now finally released his much anticipated single "Khele"[7] and will be dropping an EP soon.
Early life
Gebetsroither was born and raised in Swaziland (now known as Eswatini). His passion for DJing started at the age of 5 years old, as his father was a DJ himself. Gebetsroither, being multitalented, grew up juggling DJing and his other passion, soccer, all while still in school. He trained with semi-professional teams in the country such as Swallows at the age of 16. He then jumped into the Television scene in 2020, being a host and presenter on a brand new show called Studio1[8], which was aired on national television. This was also more or less the same time he started producing tracks for himself.
Career
DJ Stunner learned and perfected his art at the age of 13 and, despite his age, started getting booked to play at different shows in and out of the country[9]. In 2020 he starred on a show which went on for three seasons, where he was also showcasing his talent. He is a creative with no limits. Stunner does not practice his sets, which makes each performance a completely different experience for both him and the crowd. He has DJed in different countries, and the Portuguese-speaking artist had started getting a lot of events to play at in Mozambique, enabling him to share the stage with popular amapiano artists such as TxC, Mr JazziQ and more at different events in the country. DJ Stunner has been working on lots of music, and on 2nd June 2023, he released his single "Khele" which is available on multiple streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, Deezer, Amazon Music and more.
