Clara Pedro (born 26 February 1996), who performs as DJ Virgin, is a British DJ, record producer and singer which originated from London.

Early Life[edit]

DJ Virgin was born of Brazillian-African parents, she was born in Portugal in Lisbon and she began singing for a well known Jazz Club in Belém. While she lived in Portugal she attended a prestige school for classical music called Music School of the National Conservatory[1] this is where she found out that she loved music but did not know what to do with it until moving to the UK. In the middle of appearing in the Portuguese national television as the protagonist of various tv shows and giving interviews she realised her passion for djing on a night-out, with her expert knowledge in music it only made sense to her that she'd pursue her dream.[2]

Career[edit]

DJ Virgin found her name when threw a home party, she said that "we were all picking a card that represented what we will be in the future" she then follows on by saying the card "Virgin" came up and she was confused obviously, " it came a time to choose a dj name and I thought it was destiny".

DJ Virgin started djing at an early stage and began producing at the age of 15 " she said she always saved any rough drafts as it can be used for the future, even if it is for some laughter".[3]

DJ Virgin performs at bars, corporate events, as well as clubs including Liberty in London. In 2014, she met her manager Ana M , who signed DJ Virgin to London To You Agency and now she tours worldwide while giving appearances and interviews on a radio show from time to time[4]
