In just 2 days of arriving in the US, DOMi’s first Facebook videos went 800k viral. At only 17 years old, she drew the ears of Robert "Sput” Searight of Snarky Puppy, Louis Cole of KNOWER and is endorsed with Yamaha, Dave Smith and Spectrasonics (Eric Persing). The youngest new name to keyboard innovators, her sound world is inspired by a melting pot of jazz, hip-hop and classical.

Biography[edit]

Immersed into the world of music by her family, DOMi’s devoted passion for the piano started young. At age 2 she picked up the drums and started learning piano.

After she completed her Piano studies at Nancy Conservatory, she went on to study at the internationally renowned Superior National Conservatory of Paris ((Paris Conservatory). At age 16, she was awarded the full Presidential Scholarship by Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she is currently studying. Her career started when 2 videos of her jamming at Berklee were posted on Facebook and reached almost a million views in 2 days. She went on tour with Ghost-note and played shows with Thundercat. She played for Mac Miller less than a month before he died on the Late show with Stephen Colbert.

Her primary influences are Robert Glasper, Joe Zawinul and Brad Mehldau.

DOMi & JD Beck[edit]

DOMi's main project is her collaboration with drummer/producer JD Beck. They met at NAMM in January 2018 and started the project immediately after by posting videos of them together on Instagram. They caught the attention of Questlove, Anderson Paak, Robert Glasper, Flying Lotus and Thundercat. In 2018, they've done opening tours for KNOWER and Louis Cole as well as performances around the US & Europe. In 2019, they are going on tour with Chon as their guest artists. They can also be found with bass player MonoNeon in their trio "Whateva the Fyuck".

DOMi & JD Beck are currently recording their first album that will be released late 2019.
