DUTCH FARMS

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Dutch Farms is an egg and dairy company headquartered in Chicago, IL. It has been owned and operated by the Boomsma family since its inception in 1987. The company was started by two brothers, Bruce and Brian Boomsma, who were 25 and 29 at the time. They began the business by directly distributing eggs from the farm to the shelf. They were originally operating out of Highland, IN, before moving to Lansing, IL, and finally to their current facility, located in the Pullman neighborhood of Chicago. Over the past several decades, Dutch Farms has expanded its portfolio of products to include over 250 branded items in the cheese, dairy, milk, deli, meat, and bakery categories. Dutch Farms’ mission is straightforward: Deliver the highest quality products at an honest price. Dutch Farms distributes dairy products based on a “direct-store” delivery format that supports the Chicagoland market. Dutch Farms has also developed a wholesale network that connects over 40 U.S. states. Dutch Farms exports to Asia, South America, South Africa, and the Caribbean.
